Thank you for visiting the Public Consultation section of our website, we are keen to work with the local community to ensure that our proposals for Shelton Green meet the needs of Warlingham.
Pre presentation engagement
On the 23rd July we wrote to the Warlingham Local Ward and Parish Councillors outlining our intentions for the site which subsequently led to a zoom meeting with them on the 23rd August.
The week of the 23rd August – 27th August close to 5,000 Public consultation information leaflets were posted via Royal Mail’s delivery service to local residents and businesses throughout Warlingham.
Our online public exhibition
Whilst COVID restrictions are relaxing, the latest Government guidance continues to advise caution and suggests limiting contact with those you do not usually live with by minimising the number, proximity and duration of social contacts. We also recognise that some members of the community may remain cautious about face to face events.
On Thursday 9th September 2021 at 18:30, the team held an online exhibition with members of the public. The presentation team on the night included:

A number of questions were raised during the Live Question & Answer session which was fantastic to see and we continue to encourage residents to raise any additional questions and provide feedback. We would encourage local residents to answer the six questions found on the ‘Feedback’ section of the website and politely request that all queries/feedback are issued to our team by 23rd September 2021 at which point the team will digest the contents and amend the scheme where required before moving forward with the submission of an outline planning application by Autumn 2021. We will continue to engage with the Local Parish and residents at suitable points during the planning process.
